Melbourne

Melbourne is the capital of the state of Victoria, which is located in the south-eastern Australia. It has about 3,345,000 inhabitants. It's climate is an average temperature of 21-35c in summer and minimum 2-3c in winter and it snows very rarely, although it is often very cold in winter. It is variable, it changes quickly.
They have a multicultural city; many Chinese, Vietnamese, Greeks and Italians. There are many clubs and bars ,many of which play live music. They have to speak English but many residents speak Vietnamese or Chinese as a first language. There are large ports and many ships visit the coast each day.

The main industries of Melbourne are tourism, car and clothing manufacture.

It has a zoo which is famous for its animals and very beautiful birds. They are clean cool water beaches, and the Melbourne cricket ground. The Yarra River is large and wide. It runs through the city centre and many beautiful cafes are along side the Yarra River.

A large public transport system consists of train, buses and electric trams in the city centre. It's very cheap. Also Melbourne is the Music and art centre of Australia. Melbourne has many art galleries and museums by the river. They enjoy many colourful city cafes and food from around the world. There are good places for travel.
